Cavalor Derma Wash is a hygienic shampoo containing pre- and probiotics, used to wash horses that have sensitive or flaky skin, dull coats or a skin condition. It’s the ideal shampoo to wash new arrivals in the yard or to prepare your horse for clipping. The skin is the first line of defence for your horse. Cavalor Derma Wash encourages the natural defence mechanism of the skin and promotes a healthy balance of microflora. It helps ‘good’ bacteria to gain a footing in the affected area and multiply more quickly and inhibits the adhesion of external organisms. This prevents and alleviates important skin problems.

Cavalor WholeGain is a high-fat concentrated mixture that contributes to a fit horse with a radiant coat and safely promotes weight gain. It also acts as a balancer enriched with nutrients that support the higher needs of sport horses. Cavalor WholeGain is a balanced mixture that combines puffed grains, high fat ingredients, pre- and probiotics, important buffers, vitamins and minerals. A balanced ratio of omega 3/ omega 6 fatty acids makes Cavalor WholeGain the ideal supplement for sport horses that lack some fitness or have difficulty maintaining their weight.

Fat balancer for cool energy and safe weight gain-key benefits

Safe weight gain

Shiny coat

Cool energy from fat

Sport essential vitamins

Feeding recommendations for Cavalor WholeGain High-fat feed should be gradually built up. Introduce Cavalor WholeGain over a period of min. 5 days and feed max. 1 kg Cavalor WholeGain per horse per day. Divide the product in several feedings per day. Preferably after providing roughage

20kg bag RRP £69

Cavalor OilMega makes for a healthy horse from the inside out. The omega 3 - 6 - 9 fatty acids in the product, together with the natural antibiotic, ensure healthy intestinal flora and additional support for the immune system. This results in good digestion and a glossy coat. The essential omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids and the natural antibiotic in Cavalor OilMega support the overall health of the horse. It provides a shiny coat, healthy intestinal flora and improved immunity. Additionally, a high-fat diet can also result in improved sports performance. Giving energy in the form of fat, rather than carbohydrates, helps the horse’s muscles convert energy without producing large amounts of lactate. For horses carrying out work over extended periods, or “hyperactive” horses, energy provided in the form of fat can have a beneficial effect on the energy supply during work or on the horse’s behaviour. This is because fat has a high energy density, meaning horses will become “hot” less quickly compared to when they ingest certain cereals.

Cavalor OilMega must be added to the ration gradually. If large quantities of oil are ingested too quickly, horses experience bloating, excessive gas production, loss of appetite and thin manure.

Dose per horse per day: Day 1 20 ml Day 2 40 ml Day 3 60 ml Day 4 80 ml Day 5 100 ml

After day 5 100 ml Maximum amount per horse per day = 500 ml.

TIP: During winter, add Cavalor OilMega to the ration. It will help your horse moult and have a shiny coat again.

Store in a dry place at moderate temperature. Use within 18 months from production date.

2L RRP £50, 10L RRP £157.50, 10L + pump RRP £165

RECOMMENDED USE Cavalor Nutri Plus contains all the nutrients your sport horse needs to perform at its best. Many sport horses receive little to no concentrated feed for a variety of reasons. They may for example be oversensitive to sugar and carbs, hyperactive, overweight, or obtain their energy in the form of grains such as barley, oats, spelt, etc. This is not a problem in and of itself, as long as they still get all the nutrients they need. Sport horses require even higher levels of certain vitamins and minerals than recreational horses. For example, those vitamins and minerals that provide muscle support or protection, or water-soluble vitamins, as these horses drink and sweat more.

RECOMMENDED USE Cavalor Nutri Support contains all the nutrients a recreational horse requires to glow with good health. Current feeding trends favour more roughage and less concentrate. Sufficient roughage is indeed an essential part of any equine diet. However, this method of feeding necessitates care to ensure that the horse still gets enough vitamins and minerals. While commercial concentrate feeds contain these vitamins and minerals, simple grains and roughage cannot provide them in sufficient quantity. Therefore, if the horse’s diet includes no or too little concentrate, it should be augmented by a vitamin and mineral supplement such as Cavalor Nutri Support.

Cavalor has reinvented its approach to treating mud fever. More than 10 essential oils work together to heal, soothe and disinfect the pastern cavities. The MudDoc formula is 100 % natural and will make scratches disappear like a puff of smoke.

WHAT IS MUD FEVER? Mud fever is, without doubt, one of the most recognisable skin problems in horses. Mud fever is a collective name for different forms of skin irritation on a horse’s legs. In serious cases, the whole lower leg can swell up and, if left untreated, the swelling might not go away. In severe cases, this results in lameness.

DRY FEET-The new natural formula for Cavalor Dry Feet is based on prebiotics and probiotics to provide the sole and frog with good, protective microflora for the active suppression of pathogens. This product is used worldwide by veterinarians, farriers, grooms and riders to treat soft areas of the hoof.

NO HOOF, NO HORSE Thrush is a common bacterial infection of the hoof that affects the frog. Horses with deep grooves and narrow heels are at a higher risk of thrush. Even if you keep your horse’s surroundings as clean as possible, pathogens will always remain. Horses often stand in stalls containing manure or in wet, muddy paddocks. These are ideal conditions for anaerobic bacteria to survive in the hooves and cause damage there. Once the tissue becomes damaged, these bacteria may even penetrate to the sensitive areas of the hoof under the frog and lame the horse.

Joints_what_to_chose_when.jpg

Cavalor are excited to share with you the results of a recent survey we conducted about joint issues in horses. These insights highlight the importance of prevention via joint supplements.

We would like to share some key findings that emphasize why this deserves your attention:

  • 66% of horses have experienced a joint injury, with half resulting in lameness.
  • The highest risk group is horses aged 9 to 12 years, a critical age for peak performance.
  • Many joint issues are not immediately visible, but the risk increases as workload intensifies.
  • Prevention is essential: Joint injuries result in prolonged recovery times and significant veterinary costs.

Why this matters:

The survey clearly shows the importance of preventive joint care and the demand for high-quality solutions:

  • 73% of horse owners are worried about potential joint issues.
  • 69% are already using joint supplements as a preventive measure.
  • 82% would avoid buying a horse prone to joint problems.

By focusing on joint health, we can help address concerns, for more info click here
