The Veredus Carbon Gel Vento Boots by Marcus Ehning include a Tendon and Fetlock boot, both with double ventilation.
Carbon Gel Vento is the first cannon bone protector that guarantees double ventilation thanks to the latest research and technology.
The heat released from the horse’s leg passes through the microperforated neoprene layer and is then distributed in the 3D mesh ducted fabric.
Fresh air enters through the air inlet as a result of the animal’s movement and directs the heat accumulated in the ducted fabric upwards to the outlet vent.
Ventilation is truly innovative with two directions - horizontal, from the inside outwards, and vertical, from the bottom upwards.
Flexor tendon protection is ensured by the carbon combined with a nitrexgel shock absorber film.

UVEX VG1 Helmets

Delivery of the much anticipated Uvex VG1 helmets will take place in January 2016 for the beginning of the competitive 2016 season. All of the governing associations, BD, BS, BE, PC, BHS, BRS etc have announced that they are accepting the new VG1 standard from 1st January onwards, and that it complies with all their rulings.

Uvex have dedicated their resources to developing and exceeding the requirements of this new revised standard, to ensure as smooth a process as possible. Thomas Dautermann flew in to spend the week with BSI to oversee the rigorous testing processes required for the kitemark, and production has now commenced.

Sweet-Itch and Fly Control with Cavalor

Summer eczema is a common summer skin condition also known as sweet itch and occurs when culicoides, certain biting midges and flies salivate on the horse’s skin.

The saliva causes an allergic reaction and will show in the signs of irritation, inflammation and discomfort for many horses. It is often a recurring itch that goes hand in hand with dermatitis.

The reaction causes a constant itch at the mane, base of the tail, head and ears which results in chafing. When scratching, horses can injure themselves, which could lead to secondary bacterial injections.
