Edith and Little Betty Return to Pony Club

WHEN nine-year-old Shetland, Little Betty became unsound the Land family from Norfolk knew they had to do everything they could to get her comfortable.
Owned by Nicola Land and ridden by her four-year-old daughter, Edith, Little Betty is a huge part of the family.
Said Nicola: “We first noticed Little Betty was off colour when I lost my old horse and she became a bit stressed.
“We had to move her to another field and I think this was where the problem started and we could see she was foot sore but with careful management she came right and Edith was able to get back to Pony Club rallies.
“The issue started again when we moved house and although we fenced off a small paddock it seemed the upheaval of the new environment had upset her and this time she was much worse and was very foot sore.

Tabitha Kyle Joins the Zebra Products Herd

Tabitha Kyle has secured a new sponsorship with well-known equestrian distributors, Zebra Products and the popular brand Bucas.  
At just 12-years-old Tabitha competes both nationally and internationally. 2019 proved extremely successful for the young International showjumper. Her highlights include being selected for the Children on Horses European Championships on her 17.1hh horse, Bart. The duo finished in an individual place of fifth and brought home GBR Team European bronze medal, along with creating history by winning both the 128cm and 138cm Championships in the same year, not only at HOYS but also at Liverpool International Horse Show. Tabitha ended 2019 with more than 150 wins. 
With riding in her blood, her father Mark is an Olympic eventer and her mother Tanya evented up to 4* level. Whilst Tabitha follows in her parents footsteps into the equestrian world, Tabitha has developed her own passion for showjumping. Tabitha currently competes in Children on horses alongside competing her 138cm and 148cm ponies.

Sprenger Launch New Pony Bit Range

Sprenger has added new pony sizes to its range of popular bits following demand from younger riders.
The smaller sizes have been included in seven bits from October as pony riders have recognised the huge benefits Sprenger bits provide.
Pony sizes are now available in the Bemelmans Weymouth and HO-Weymouth, Dynamic RS and Turnado - single jointed loose ring snaffles; the Dynamic RS - single jointed and double jointed eggbutt snaffle versions, and the Turnado – 3-Ring single jointed bit.
A Mullen Mouth – eggbutt bit with hard carbon mouthpiece will be available in December to complete the range.
The bits are priced from £51 to £256.

THE NEW TENSA GLOVE RANGE

uvex successfully entered the equestrian glove market in 2015 , and have since been developing new products to add to the range. The latest addition is the uvex tensa collection, launched at Spoga 2016 which comprises three different models. The tensa, the tensa Dressage, and the tensa Light.
