Cavalor Nutri Support Vitamin And Mineral Support

RECOMMENDED USE Cavalor Nutri Support contains all the nutrients a recreational horse requires to glow with good health. Current feeding trends favour more roughage and less concentrate. Sufficient roughage is indeed an essential part of any equine diet. However, this method of feeding necessitates care to ensure that the horse still gets enough vitamins and minerals. While commercial concentrate feeds contain these vitamins and minerals, simple grains and roughage cannot provide them in sufficient quantity. Therefore, if the horse’s diet includes no or too little concentrate, it should be augmented by a vitamin and mineral supplement such as Cavalor Nutri Support.

Amerigo Protector Dressage Girth

The beautiful Amerigo Protector Dressage Girth is specially designed for horses with girthing problems.
The girth helps remove all friction and pressure during movement, allowing the horse to move freely and comfortably.
The special shape provides extra comfort for the horse and the front side of the girth is softly padded with calfskin. The role of the girth is often overlooked, but it can be responsible for the horse being reluctant to move forward due to discomfort in the elbow and rib areas.
The unique shape of the Protector girth and the innovative use of materials, ensure that the delicate area around the elbow are well protected and that the pressure from the girth is directed on to the horse sternum, which is less sensitive.
The Amerigo Protector Dressage Girth is made from soft Italian leather and has elastic straps for the optimum comfort for your horse. There is a wipeable rubber outer shell on the mid plate and a D ring at the front for the attachment of training aids.
The Amerigo Protector Stud Girth is priced at around £373.00.

Bucas Buzz-Off Zebra Riding Rug

Fed up of those pesky flies? The Bucas Buzz-Off Zebra Riding Rug is a lightweight mesh, two part riding rug with a detachable neck piece allowing for different levels of protection.

The hood protects the horse’s neck, chest and shoulders. It comes with an elastic brow-band to help keep the rug in position up the neck and is easily attached with hoop and loop straps to the riding rug at the withers and in front of the saddle.

The revolutionary design with thin zebra-like stripes confuses and repels flies to keep horses free from the stresses of summer flies when out riding. The Bucas Buzz-Off Zebra Riding Rug is available in sizes S-XL and is priced at around £96.00.

2020 British Showjumping New Whip Rules

To promote horse welfare, British Showjumping is only allowing one type of whip in competitions from next year. From January 1, 2020 only cushion-type whips will be allowed.

These changes came about as a result of discussions between the officials’ working groups, and the BS national sport committee. The new ruling will apply to all members.

The new rule states, only one whip may be carried and no substitute for a whip may be carried. A whip, if carried, must be held in the hand by the handle with the handle at the top.
